127th Independence Day Celebration

On June 21st, 2025, the Filipino Community in Lithuania came together to celebrate the 127th Philippine Independence Day at Best Western Hotel.

The event, held in Vilnius, was a lively gathering of Filipinos, with honorable guests from Philippine Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, Migrant Workers Office in Prague, representatives from International House Vilnius, IOM Lithuania and generous partners Megaworld International Europe 2, Philippine National Bank and BCRemit.

The Filipino community in Lithuania would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to the guests speakers including:

International House Vilnius provides valuable support and information to people relocating to Lithuania’s capital.

Migration Center (IOM)

IOM has established a Migration Information Center in Lithuania that provides information and services to migrants to facilitate their integration.

Migracija

The Migration Department issues residence permits, certificates and cards to live, work and study in Lithuania.

SODRA

Sodra is the State Social Insurance Fund Board under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour which administers social security related services in Lithuania.

The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) – Prague is the Department of Migrant Workers’ operating arm in the Czech Republic, with concurrent jurisdiction over Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.
